What Is CNC Turning?

CNC turning rotates the workpiece while a single-point cutting tool removes material — ideal for cylindrical parts, threads, and concentric features. Live-tooling lathes add milling and drilling operations in the same setup, eliminating secondary operations and reducing tolerance stack-up.

We run Star, Citizen, and Mazak lathes including Swiss-type for long, slender parts. Tolerance ±0.005 mm, MOQ 1 piece, lead time 3–7 business days.
